Do you want to make a difference? Do you want to be a part of history in the making? If so, join us for Human Rights Campaign’s 2008 Campaign College!
This is an exciting time for HRC and the GLBT community. This year, elections will occur for a new president, all U.S. House members, one-third of the U.S. Senate, and thousands of state legislators. HRC looks to make a difference in some of the most important state and federal races by electing more pro-GLBT candidates and creating sustainable pro-equality majorities at all levels of government.
Forty participants of the 2008 Campaign College will be brought to DC for an intensive week of hands-on training on how a campaign works. After mastering the basic skills of field organizing, participants will spend the end of the summer through the November 4th federal elections in target races.
This program is open to anyone between the ages of 18 and 24 who has a passion for GLBT equality and would like to learn vital campaign skills.” Participants will receive a stipend and community housing will be provided.
