Bone Marrow Transplant Might Cure HIV

A leukemia patient who also had HIV appears to have been cured following a bone marrow transplant. Nearly two years after the transplant and despite not resuming antiretroviral therapy, no virus has been detected in his blood, brain, or rectal tissue.
